Paar päeva tagasi lasti ametlikult välja uus GNOME 2.32. Tegu on viimase planeeritud põhiväljalaskega GNOME 2.X seerias. Järgmine suurem versiooni uuendus peaks olema juba GNOME 3.0. 2.X seeriale lastakse välja ainult korralisi hooldusväljalaskeid.
Uusi laiendusi GNOME 2.32 palju ei ole, sest juba praegu läheb palju tähelepanu GNOME 3.0 arendusele, mis on planeeritud juba 2011 aasta aprilliks. Keda huvitavad aga sisse viidud uuendused ja täiendused, siis nende kohta saate lugeda http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/2.32/ lingilt.
Noh, töökindlus ja kasutusmugavus on tõesti olemas.
