Videokaart on ATI Radeon 9500. Sain ATI fglrx draiverid tööle, kuid kõikjal puudub läbipaistvus, kus vaja. Näiteks akende ülaäärised peaksid olema ümarad teema järgi, kuid näitab kante siiski otsades lisaks; kui ikoone liigutada töölaual või failihalduris, näitab Gnome valget kasti ikooni ümber; akent minimiseerides peaks aken sujuvalt tegumiribale minema, minnes näitab seest läbipaistvate ristkülikute asemel musti kaste; ALT-Tab-i kasutades aknaid vahetades peaks ta näitaba järgemööda vastava akna suuruseid seest läbipaistvaid ristkülikuid, kuid mul ei ole need läbipaistvad, vaid mustad; jne.
Võib-olla oskate midagi soovitada?

Ei aidanud kahjuks ja composite extensioni lubamine tegelikult ei saagi aidata, sest ATI pakutud draiveritel composite extension hetkel ei tööta.
Fedora Core 5 peal töötas ilusti. xorg.conf seal:

Selle DRI sektsiooni lisamine ei andnud midagi juurde, kui proovisin. Muu on nagu laaditavate moodulite erinevus. Aga täpselt ei tea, kas ka midagi vajalikku...

Sain nüüd asja korda, kui lisasin xorg.conf-i kõik moodulid, mis FC5-s veel lisaks olid. Ma küll ei tea, mis mille jaoks on ja mis asja ära tegi, aga võib-olla hiljem uurin...
