Iga teatud aja tagant tuleb allserva teade, et järjekordne heli taasesitamise seade on oma lepingu lõpetanud ja teisele üle andnud...mõtlen juba hirmuga, et kui need teised ükskord otsa lõpevad, et mis siis küll häält tegema hakkab Very Happy
Panin tähele, et see kiri ilmub tavaliselt siis, kui kasutasin filmi vaatamiseks nt. Dragoni mängijat, nüüd loobusin sellest ja tõmbasin Kaffeine. Sellega pole viimasel ajal enam silti ilmunud. Nüüd ilmus sama kiri, aga Minitube käivitamisel...
Helikaardina on kasutusel Envy24PT/HT PCI Multi-Channel Audio Controller. Pulse audio on välja lülitud, kuna sellest tuli ainult jama. Arvutis on ka muidugi integreeritud helikaart, ja ehk on probleem selles, et ka see tahab omi töötunde täis saada?!
Veider on muidugi see, et seni kuniks ta ühelt-teisele ja kolmandale heli taasesitamist lükkab, siis on veel tore, aga kui pole enam kuhugi saata, et kas siis saabub vaikus???

Selle pildi järgi tundub olevat nagu kaks helikaarti? Kui see tõele vastab, siis äkki annab üks neist kuidagi keelata?

Jah on küll 2. Teine on integreeritud helikaart. OpenSuses sain selle kuidagi ära keelata, aga ei mäleta enam, et kuidas.

_Mageia 1 on uus Linuxil põhinev arvutikeskkond, kuhu on haaratud kogu viimase 12 aasta jooksul Mandriva Linuxi arendamisel saadud positiivsed kogemused ja oskused. Seda arendavad koos endine Mandriva Linuxi Euroopa arendusmeeskond ja lai kogukond üle maailma.

Mageiast võiks kujuneda juhtiv kogukonna põhine tasuta ja vabavaraline arvutikeskkond "rpm" maailmas, analoogselt Debianile deb poolel. Mageia toetab kõiki klassikaliselt tuntud töölaudu, KDE, Gnome, LXDE ja ka muid väiksemaid._

Kui see Mageia 1 on Mandriva edasiarendus ning sisaldab parimaid kogemusi ja pakette, nagu väidetakse, siis miks tekivad Mageia 1 kasutajatel jälle mingid probleemid? Miks tehakse asi nii "heaks", et see korralikult töötada ei taha? Võiks ju ikkagi teha nii, et värk toimib, või ei saa mina asjast muhvigi aru....

Creative Soundblaster SB0570 ei hakanudki häält tegema, kuigi tunti ära ja draiver oli ka olemas.

Tuli välja vahetada.

No vaata, eks probleeme on iga distributsiooniga, või pigem iga operatsioonisüsteemiga.
Mac eeliseks (vähemalt minevikus )oli kindel raud, mitte suvalised jupstükid mida näeme PC'des.
Windowsi eeliseks see et jupstükkide tootjad treivad ise driverid valmis.

Linuxi puhul on kurb see, et driverid on nö põlve otsas tehtud.
Jah, toimivad küll ja täisväärtuslikult, aga midagi oleks nagu puudu ikkagi.
Ehk asi selles, et jupstükkide tootjad ei avalda täielikke spetsifikatsioone ja driverisse ei jõua kõik vajalik.
See omakorda võib tähendada anomaaliaid erinevate jupstükkide omavahelises töös.

Omalgi näitena tuua helikaart ja veebikaamera kus kõikide eelduste kohaselt pidanuksid töötama, aga siiski mitte.

Pikk jutt kokkuvõtvalt: Ei ole ses Mageias rohkem probleeme kui teistes (ma arvan vähemalt nii)

Hea on vähemalt see, et kuigi aegajalt ikka seda teadet veel viskab (eemaldasin BIOSest integreeritud helikaardi ning Phononist üleliigsed väljundid), siis heli ise ära ei kao. Viimane teade oli veel eriti koomiline, kus teatas, et: Heli taasesitamise seade Chaintech AV-710 ei tööta. Varuvariandina kasutatakse Chaintech AV-710-t. Very Happy Mäletan, et kunagi sai Mandriva ka selle heli jama pärast OpenSUSE vastu vahetatud...nii, et vanad vead...ju on minu arvuti liiga kapriisne. Aga kuna hetkel heli ikkagi tegelikult ei kao, siis pole plaani ka Mageiat vahetama hakata...Ju kunagi ikka korda saab.
