Endiselt üleval küsimus kerneli uuendamise kohta.
Kuna väga vähesed kasutajad jooksutavad eelmise seeria kernelit lauaarvutil, siis oleks ka vigade otsimise lihtsustamiseks mõtekas uuendus läbi teha.

| Kas Synaptic Package Manageriga otsides kernel2.6 ja kui ta on leidnud kernel2.6, siis millised pakikesed on vajalikud debianile tõmmata? Või on veel lihtsam viis kernel uuendada?

Synaptic on apt frontend ja sobib selleks otstarbeks suurepäraselt. Sõltuvused lahendatakse automaatiliselt.
Ainuke asi mis, minu mäletamist mööda, vaikimisi tööle ei läinud oli see hiireseade, mida juba eelpool mainisin.

| Vaata, ega sul näiteks kahte Synapticut pole korraga lahti, või näiteks ühes terminalis käib apt-get ja samal ajal avad Synapticu. Korraga tohib lahti olla ainult üks Synapticu või apt-geti seanss.
