Kõik on väga kena, aga miks sa arvad, et juba ei kasutata õiget draiverit?
Kogu see iksindus liigubki selles suunas, et xorg.conf fail üldse ära kaotada - kõik peaks automaagiliselt töötama.

Sest terminali aken on mul pandud läbipaistva tausta peale ja kui satub olema ikoonide peal siis ei paista ikoonid sealt läbi - on näha vaid taustapilt , mis deskdopile on pandud . Mul oli siin varem NVIDIA kaardiga ja teise läpakaga sama . Kui sain NVIDIA kaardi tööle , siis paistis terminali aknast kõik läbi , mis see moment seal taga sattus olema .Kas ikoonid või lahti olev firefox jne.Sellepärast ma arvangi ,et see kaart ei ole töös või mis ??

Vot selle läbipaistvusega on isevärki lood. Läbipaistvust saab saavutada mitmel erineval moel. Saab teist "emuleerida" ehk petta pannes terminali (või mõne muu "läbipaistava" akna) taustaks tüki tapeedist või kasutada ära graafikakaardi iseärasusi ja võimalusi ning luua tõeline läbipaistvuse efekt. Tõenäoliselt NVIDIA kaart suudab teha tõeliselt läbipaistvaid aknaid, aga S3 seda ei suuda ja üritatakse odavamalt, kuid peaaegu sama hästi läbi ajada
Teha pole siin midagi... vähemalt minuteada.
