Ühel heal hetkel keeldus Gnome tavakasutajana käima minemast, visates ette järgmise veateate " Cannot find a safe socket path in '/tmp' "
Root'ina gnome tuleb ilusti üles. Kui proovin mõnd gnome programmi (näit. gaim, aga ka firefox...) käima panna kde all, siis annab sama veateate. Kas kellelgi on ideid, milles probleem. Googeldamisest ega siinsetest foorumitest abi ei saanud.

Proovisin mitut moodi, aga ikkagi sama lugu. Sisselogimisel tekib /tmp kataloogi meeletult Orbit-kasutaja katalooge (tühjad)...Logi välja, mine konsooli otsa (Ctrl-Alt-F1), logi rooduna sisse ja ütle:
rm -rf /tmp/*

Failsafes ei saa. Teiste graafiliste süsteemidega saab (proovinud IceWM ja KDE).
